We are seeking an experienced and highly motivated Account Manager to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in snow removal, landscaping services, project management, and customer relations. The Account Manager will be responsible for managing customer accounts that are transitioned from Business Development.  They will oversee the snow removal process, landscaping maintenance/enhancement projects, ensure high-quality service delivery, and foster long-term relationships with customers.

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
  1. Work with Business Development to transition and onboard new customers to your area.
  2. Serve as the primary point of contact for existing and newly assigned customer accounts.
  3. Responsible for all assigned snow and/or landscape customer renewals, which are to be managed through the renewal process within the Company’s CRM (Salesforce)
  4. Identify solutions to expand services with landscape and snow removal customers.
  5. Identify property enhancement projects based on customer’s property needs/priorities
  6. Partner with General Manager/Enhancement Manager on enhancement job costing to ensure alignment and ability to achieve job productivity levels and margin goals (as needed).
  7. Prepare and present detailed enhancement proposals to assigned customers to ensure enhancement sales goals are met on a quarterly basis.
  8. Record all enhancement proposals within the company’s CRM (Salesforce) daily to ensure an active and up-to-date enhancement pipeline.
  9. Provide weekly reporting on CRM pipeline versus enhancement sales goals to illustrate progress and current enhancement project execution/success levels.
  10. Prioritize all enhancement projects for each customer’s property to focus on the greatest need for the highest impact.
  11. Coordinate and manage customer approved landscaping enhancement projects from initiation to completion, ensuring timelines, budgets, and customer specifications are met.
  12. Work with Production Manager to schedule crews and allocate resources efficiently.
  13. Conduct regular site visits to monitor the progress and quality of ongoing projects and weekly maintenance.
  14. Monitor project budgets and track expenses to ensure profitability.
  15. Approve invoices and ensure timely billing for services rendered.
  16. Clearly communicate with senior management on account status, project progress, and financial performance.
  17. Assist customers with their year-round budget planning (as needed).

Teamwork & Customers:
  1. Work closely with internal teams; maintenance crews, enhancement crews and irrigation department to ensure that customer needs are met.
  2. Ensure all services related to landscape and snow removal meet or exceed industry standards and customers’ expectations.
  3. Conduct regular quality control checks and resolve any issues promptly.
  4. Address and resolve customer concerns or issues related to landscape and snow removal operations in a timely and professional manner.
  5. Build and maintain strong, long-term customer relationships through regular communication and personalized service, ensuring continued customer retention.
  6. Plan, coordinate, and execute customer entertainment events/activities to help facilitate enhancement sales goals and meet annual company sales/profitability objectives.
Internal Knowledge:
  1. Utilize all CRM tools.
  2. Learn, understand and adhere to the existing enhancement sales process.
  3. Learn all facets of the aggregate business to ensure an understanding of all roles and functions within the company.
  4. Sell enhancement work that is both executable and profitable.
  5. Ensure adherence to safety standards and environmental regulations.
  6. Adherence to Company administrative policies, procedures and business ethic codes.
  7. All other duties as assigned.

QUALIFICATIONS:
  • High school diploma or G.E.D. equivalent required. Advanced degree preferred.
  • Strong knowledge of landscaping services, including design, maintenance, irrigation, and horticulture.
  • Proven track record of managing customer accounts and successful project delivery.
  • Excellent communication, time management, and organizational skills.
  • Superior interpersonal skills with the ability to build rapport with customers and teams.
  • Proficient in project management and budgeting.
  • Ability to multi-task and work with pressures of deadlines.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Familiarity with landscaping software (e.g., Aspire, Salesforce, Netsuite or similar tools)
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office (i.e. Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)
  • Ability to work with General Manager, Operations Team, and Senior Leadership.
  • Goal oriented, strong collaborative mindset
  • Strong value system (i.e. integrity, honesty)
  • Bilingual in Spanish a plus
  • Valid Driver’s License required
  • Ability to perform site visits, walk on uneven terrain and inspect landscaping projects.
  • Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds.
